The purpose of the Vital Qi Newsletter is to bring awareness to Qigong and to inform you of Qigong classes and products available at Inner Vitality Qigong. We also intend on covering other natural health related topics. We look forward to working with you and growing together as we cultivate inner vitality through the art of Qigong. Qigong Heals

Qigong focuses on self-healing and prevention of illness. It includes movement forms (stances and exercises) and quiet forms (breathing and meditations). Qigong helps the practitioner to focus their mind and to be in the present moment, relaxing both the mind and body. It is difficult relax the body if the mind is not relaxed and quiet. Qigong also helps to strengthen and increase the energy (Qi) flow in the body. As a result, Qigong provides a strong foundation that supports the body's own ability to heal.

How to get started?

If you live in the northeastern Ohio area, you can sign up for our in-person classes. Private classes are available upon request. If you cannot attend our in-person classes, you can purchase one of our Qigong Home Study Kits and learn Qigong basics in the comfort of your own home. Qigong Tips

Think of resting as part of your practice. Too much physical and mental activities without proper rest will drain your energy. It is important to get at least 7 hours of sleep nightly for recharging and healing. If you have difficulty falling asleep, you can count your breathing cycles. This will focus and calm your mind and body.

Intentions Form Chi Fields

Hurricane Sandy has affected a lot of people on the east coast. The destruction is tremendous. Our hearts and prayers go out to all affected. With that said, staying stuck in the destruction and repeating the sorrows and regrets will not help anyone, including yourself. You may be thinking that is the compassionate way, to extend feelings of sadness to those affected by "bad" events. However, this type of support does not provide any power or help to those affected. Providing negative thoughts and intentions only contribute to building a negative pattern or field of energy that not only weakens yourself, but also weakens others.

Being of Service

People along the east coast are cleaning up after being hit by Hurricane Sandy. They are faced with difficult times as they rebuild their lives. Some are without shelter, food, water, heat, and much more. Things most of us take for granted. Together we can make a difference, one person at a time. Not only do we help others by being of service, but we also benefit as well. Not only does our service touch people's lives in a positive way, but it is also healing for ourselves as well. There are so many ways to be of service, like donating money, time, clothing, etc. One way to be of service is by opening your heart and your wallet and donating to the "American Red Cross". They are on the ground providing support in most communities, but especially in those communities hit hard by this latest hurricane. There is so much need. Please donate today. You can make a difference.

Qigong Wellness Coaching

We offer Qigong wellness coaching for those that would like assistance creating a healthy lifestyle and integrating Qigong into their daily routine.
